MIKE BELAND RIDER BIO
Born in Western Massachusetts and raised rural, Mike graduated high school in 1986 and entered Marine Corps basic training just two weeks later. He served six years worldwide before being honorably discharged, then worked at a Chevrolet dealership and with the Teamsters Union repairing heavy trucks. In 1996, he founded A1 Cycles, which has remained in continuous operation for 30 years.
Through his career, Mike has built award-winning show bikes, been featured on five national magazine covers, completed six Speed Channel pilots, and appeared on Pinks, Pinks All Out, and as on-air talent for Pass Time and Pinks All Out 2016. He has also been featured in National Geographic and Travel Channel documentaries and currently resides in Mooresville, North Carolina, the heart of professional racing.
