A1 Cycles will receive your transmission, disassemble it, thoroughly clean it, and repair any worn or damaged gears, bearings, and shift forks. We also back-cut an entrance ramp on the back side of the engagement dogs to provide earlier, more positive engagement under power.

We also offer billet doors and shift drums and stock Harley replacement parts to restore your transmission to smooth, like-new operation. This is the same transmission setup used in our record-breaking M8 turbo bikes.

Please ship your transmission on the door with the forks, shift rails, and shift drum installed on the door. Do not send the 6th (final drive) gear—it remains in the case.

Because every transmission is different, this service cannot be pre-purchased. We won't know what parts are needed until we inspect your transmission. The $595 base fee covers the labor and service only; any replacement parts are billed separately.

We typically complete 10–12 transmissions each week, and all work is billed by email after the job is complete. Thank you!
